Tennessee Basketball Infographic ver. 0.2 | UT-Kansas Maui Preview

Tennessee lost a cage match physical game against Purdue in the Maui Invitational semis. The Vols take on #1 Kansas in the 3rd place game at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Here's the preview: 

Some improvements from ver. 0.1: the Advanced Stats are now color-coded--the greener the box, the better, and the redder the box the worse. Those numbers are normalized against the SEC averages. Also, just like the five factors in football, basketball has four factors that predict success: Effective Field Goal Percentage (it weights 3s as more valuable in FG%), Turnover Percentage (an estimate of turnovers per 100 plays), Rebounds (represented by Offensive & Defensive Rebound Percentage) and Free Throw Rate (a measure of how often a team gets to the line and makes their FTs).
